NMPI Rewards Winners of Catch Your Dream Drive Promo
Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc. (NMPI) ignites 2005 by rewarding its valued customers with excellent prizes including a brand new Nissan X-TRAIL and a collection of Philips entertainment systems in the raffle draw of the "Catch Your Dream Drive" promo.
This successful promo started last September 17 and ended December 30, 2004, generating thousands of entries from buyers of the X-TRAIL, Sentra, Cefiro, Serena and even the mighty 350Z, nationwide.
The raffle draw held at the NMPI Main Building lobby last January 7, 2005 was done in the presence of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative Ms. Mena M. Alea, NMPI President and CEO Leman Lee, Corporate Planning VP Val de Leon, Finance VP Marian Calimon, Manufacturing VP Adair Chang, Marketing AVP Dennis Chang and other key NMPI managers. Witnessing the event were Nissan dealer representatives and sales managers, and representatives from NMPI's advertising agency.
Winning the grand prize, a 2.0-liter Nissan X-TRAIL, is George Sytangco of Naga City, who bought a Sentra GSX 1.6 M/T from Nissan Commonwealth last October 20, 2004.
"By giving away the X-TRAIL, the country's number compact SUV to date, we are reaffirming and at the same time spreading the news of just how good this SUV is," comments Mr. Lee.
The 1st prize of one Philips Home Theater Package with 43-inch Projection TV went to Celia Padilla from Makati City, who bought a Nissan Cefiro 300EX from Nissan Mantrade last October 30, 2004.
The 2nd prizes consisting of two Philips Home Theater Package with 43-inch High Definition Television (HDTV) went to Abelardo Fabian Pineda and Rommel Sim Galang.
The other prizes raffled off to Nissan customers were: three Philips Home Theater Package with 29-inch TV for the 3rd prizes which were won by Rowena Escalante, Mary Jane Dale and Aris Christian Obien; five Philips DVD Theater Systems for the 4th prizes which were won by Leonor Santos, Paul Galope, Ma. Wendy Miyata, Michael Tuya and Kathleen Kierulf; and 10 Philips Mini Hi-Fi Systems for the 5th prizes, which were won by Annaliza Bunes, Emerito Cruz, Danny Bornales, Prudencio Reyes, Arsenia Santos, Gerardo Canlas, Primo Gregorio, Milagros Meranian, Domingo Sta. Maria and Chito Manimbo.
"We raffled off these excellent prizes to express our thanks to our valued customers. They are the true winners because they chose very good vehicles in the X-TRAIL, Sentra, Cefiro, Serena or 350Z," says Chock Camacho, Sales Planning Manager at NMPI.
"The Catch Your Dream Drive promo helped the dealers strengthen our loyal customer base and attracted new converts to the Nissan brand," explains Herbert Tan, VP for Operations of Nissan Mantrade, NMPI's leading dealer.
The X-TRAIL 4x2 is a best seller of NMPI in the compact SUV segment, and is known for its sturdiness and comfortable ride like its top-of-the-line sibling, the X-TRAIL 250X. The X-TRAIL also topped the compact SUV charts from August to November last year, proving it is a legend in the making and one of the most desirable vehicles in the Philippine market.
