NMPI marks Silver Anniversary
October 4, 2007 will mark the Silver Anniversary of Nissan Motors Philippines, Inc. (NMPI) in the Philippine automotive scene. Twenty-five years of the company's continuous endeavor to deliver bolder products and better services to the market. With its firm presence in the industry, NMPI looks to the future with emphasis on the image and strength of the Nissan brand to carry the company.
Entering the market as Pilipinas Nissan Incorporates (PNI), NMPI has kept its tradition of setting the trends in the local market. The company has introduced many advances and innovations which up to today are benchmarks for technology and features.
"At Nissan, we constantly find ways to enrich our customer's ownership experience. By tuning in, learning from and responding to customers needs, we are able to reflect back their opinions and expectations in the products and services we provide," says Allen Chen President and CEO of NMPI. "This is all part of the Nissan Value-Up, the global campaign which aims to go beyond the standard and into higher gear," Allen Chen adds.
Milestones of NMPI's presence in the Philippine automotive scene include the advanced all power Nissan Sentra launched in the early 90's and the race ready Sentra Series II, a hero in the Subic Grand Prix races for several years. Late 90's saw the coming of the Nissan Cefiro Brougham series which lorded over the luxury car segment. In the turn of the new millennium NMPI paved the way for the mighty Nissan X-TRAIL, the extreme SUV that garnered its share of awards and accolades both here and abroad. Latest additions to the vehicle line-up depict the Japan DNA the Nissan brand proudly carries. The Nissan Murano and Nissan Teana's bold and thoughtful designs gel perfectly with its modern technology and classic comfort. These are vehicles that fuel the imagination and passion for the wide open road, though distinctive in its category they all bear trademark considerations that make each model undeniably and uniquely Nissan.
Though the future of the industry remains uncertain, NMPI's vision has always been committed to deliver utmost customer satisfaction to our customers. "Our awareness of the markets commits us to value creation of better products and better customer service. We are constantly shifting the future at Nissan at the same time shifting expectations of our customers," says Allen Chen.
